Project Description - This project included the upgrade of the secondary chilled water pump and heat exchanger installation. The existing Data Hall operates with 2 existing secondary chilled water pumps and associated heat exchangers installed as part of the original project. The upgrade works included the deployment of 1 additional chilled water pump and associated heat exchanger to increase the duty of the system to its final capacity. The works were executed in an operational data centre environment requiring the utmost of care and diligence.

M&T Consulting Engineers provided the following services: - Review of existing system operation.
- Conduct planning workshops with the Client and establish project criteria
- Design and document the third set of chilled water pump and heat exchanger and its integration into the existing system
- Amend control strategy to accept the third pump / heat exchanger set
- Undertake construction administration services
