Client - The University of Melbourne (Data Centre & Facilities - University Services) Project Name - McCoy Data Room Market Sector - Data Centre Project Description - This project included the expansion of the mechanical cooling facility to the McCoy Data Room and the introduction of cold aisle containment to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the in-row CRAC units. Stage 1 of the McCoy Data room was delivered in 2012 with 8 IT Cabinets and 2 in-row CRAC units. This project stage included the roll-out of the third in-row CRAC unit and the remaining 8 IT cabinets in a live Data Room environment. Client - The University of Melbourne (Data Centre & Facilities - University Services) Project Name - Upgrade of Data Hall 2 Secondary Chilled Water Pumps & Heat Exchanger Facility Market Sector - Data Halls Project Description - This project included the upgrade of the secondary chilled water pump and heat exchanger installation. The existing Data Hall operates with 2 existing secondary chilled water pumps and associated heat exchangers installed as part of the original project. The upgrade works included the deployment of 1 additional chilled water pump and associated heat exchanger to increase the duty of the system to its final capacity.
